Today was Lucas' first sick visit to see the pediatrician. He had been congested since we got back from California. When we went for his 4 month check, she said to use nasal saline and a humidifier. He was still sounding stuffy in the past week. However, earlier this week, he started sounding hoarse. I called the doctor to check and see if there was anything else I should be doing for him and she told us to come in. The doctor's assessment was a possible sinus infection and an an ear infection in the left ear. Well, Mommy hadn't taken a look in his ear to confirm the status of the ear infection. We filled the perscription for his first antiobiotic. These are pictures from our experience taking medicine for the first time.
