One of my favorite things about living close to Washington, DC is the annual spring blooming of the Cherry Blossoms along the Tidal Basin. They are so beautiful in full bloom.
This year we gathered with many, MANY other people to see them on a very windy Saturday afternoon. Jen was in town to celebrate her 30th birthday. We joined her, her boyfriend, Andrew and her family. My mom, brother and sister came along. We were also met up by the Adornetto and Stavish families. Our big group, with babies in tote via carriers, made the trek around the Tidal Basin, while trying not to be blown away.
Luke snugged inside his Ergo carrier - "Okay Mommy, I'm ready to go!"
Just kidding- Luke getting a snack with the help of Uncle Billy before we head out on our way
Teagan stylin' with her shades,
All bundled up and ready to go
The Stavish Clan
Xander all bundled up in his Ergo
That's where he stayed all day
Rockin' the shades!

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of Mindi & I together with the boys
This is our third year going to see the Cherry Blossoms together
The boys have their Ergo hoods on to protect them from the wind- Gotta love the Ergo!

Hooray for a Cherry Blossom adventure! Next year, remind me to go on a weekday, in hopes of it being less crowded. When we got home, after all that walking (and carrying around an extra 20 lbs), we were thoroughly exhausted. Hooray for Spring!
