Roll over, roll over

"Who is that baby? He's awfully cute!"

Getting ready to roll over...wait for it, wait for it....

Lucas is in the beginning stages of becoming mobile. At the beginning of the week he was able to consistently roll over from his front to his back. On Friday, Grandmom told us he was able to go from his back to his stomach too. Well, actually, Lucas wrote us his first e-mail (via Grandmom) and told us all about it himself! Today, we left him on the center of his playmat on his back, only to return after a quick trip to the kitchen to find him on his back on the edge of playmat. Hmmmm.....

A little later, we actually witnessed him rolling around ourselves. Strong little man. When I was changing his diaper on the changing pad on the floor today, he even tried to roll away. Geesh. This is just the beginning. If we get a good video, we'll post it. But don't hold your breath, Lucas has his own agenda when it comes to that kind of thing.
