Katie & John's Wedding Weekend- The BIG Day!

My little sister got married today!
The wedding festivities took place in Annapolis, MD.
An early start for the girls to get hair and make-up.
Ryan's parents were watching Lucas and bringing him to the wedding to help us out.

So, of course, every wedding has the one hiccup that makes
an interesting story to add to the day.
Unfortunately for Katie & John, our limo broke down at the church.
Everyone else had left while the wedding party finished getting pictures.
We were stranded at the church....or so we thought.
Plus, we had a really hard time getting ahold of anyone to let them know we were stuck
because we had just come from the ceremony & everyone had politely turned off their phones.

Not cool, not cool at all.

Eventually, we got ahold of the hotel shuttle.
They said they could come rescue the bridal party.
Katie & John were taken by the wedding photographers to get more pictures,
then driven back to the reception.
I have to say, one of my favorite lines from the day was when
Katie was leaving to get in the photographer's car.
Here were her words for the limo driver:
"We'll be expecting a full refund, but we're not going to talk about that now
because I've got places to go and things to do!"
That's Right!

Dad & Kelsey dance

Lucas says, "All this dancing is really
starting to wear me out!".

One minute he was awake and dancing on my hip with me to "Love Shack",
the next minute, out like a light.
The Crauns
Ryan's parent's 40th wedding anniversary was the next day,
so Katie & John honored them with an anniversary dance.
Lucas all wiped out.
He went home with Grandmom & Dobby so
that Mom & Dad could party the night away,
and not have to wake up so early the next morning.
Thanks!
Dance, dance, dance
