Halloween

Early Halloween morning, Lucas helped Mommy make special Halloween funfetti cupcakes.
What's better than regular funfetti (Mommy's favorite) - Halloween funfetti!
Lucas poured everything into the bowl and even helped with the mixer.
He put the cupcake wrapper in the tray and Mommy filled them up.
We waited patiently for them to bake and cool, before decorating them.Lucas helps put on the sprinkles
These ones needs sprinkles too Lucas!

Eating up his hard work!
Yummy!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Grandmom and Dobby came to see Lucas
Grandmom brought him a spider that used to be Ryan's

Dobby & Lucas resting up before the trick or treating starts

Getting his costume on
He dressed up as a frog
If you asked him, "What does a frog do?"
He would respond by hopping and saying "Op, op, op!"

Time to try this trick or treating thing out

Our first stop, next door at Anna & Clifton's
Bentley even got dressed up!
Lucas picked out his candy without a problem
(actually he was pretty greedy for a first timer and
also for the fact that he won't be eating any of the candy himself!).
Headed to the next house

"Hi Mommy!"

Working our way down the street
Don't forget to hold Mommy's hand!

Going to the next house

Holding out his bucket to get his goodies
He was a little scared of approaching strange people at first,
but then realized they were giving him things to fill his bucket.
He kept trying to take things out of his bucket and give it to the
people trying to give him candy. We tried to explain to him that
this is not an exchange program.
Prior to Halloween, one of his favorite things to do is ring the doorbell.
So, tonight, he got to ring a few doorbells and was excited about that.
Overall, we think he had a great time on his first trick or treat experience.

Back at the house, taking a break with Grandmom & Dobby
They were nice enough to stay at our house and hand out our candy while
we took Lucas around trick or treating!
Eating some of his loot- Goldfish crackers!
He was a hungry frog from all that walking.
We went a lot further than I thought that we would.
He kept asking for more, so we kept going.

One last stop, over at Grammy's house
"Here I come Grammy!"

Daddy & the Lucas frog

Look what Grammy has!

Grammy & Lucas
By the time we got finished at Grammy's house,
it was pouring rain. No more trick or treaters came to our house
after we got home because of the rain.
We got Lucas in his PJs and sent him off to bed.

This is a video at Grammy's of our dancing frog
