Our newest addition to Lucas' quickly growing playlist of favorite songs is "The Wheels on the Bus". He recently started requesting it by showing us the "round and round" sign. At first, that was the only part he could repeat the motions for the song. In the past week, he has been able to do all the motions along with us. My favorite is "The mommies on the bus go shhh, shhh, shhh" as he puts his finger to mouth.
He, of course, was trying to make the requests for "Itsy Bitsy" and "Wheels on the Bus" this past Sunday at church. No luck there, they didn't take his request. He did seem to enjoy the "Alleluia" and "Our Father" songs, now if only we could come up with motions for those.
