We went back to the uriologist today for Lucas' post-surgical visit.
The good news is that everything from his surgery last month looks like it healed well.
The bad news is: He is in the 20% of people that has bilateral (both sides) hydroceles.
The smaller right hydrocele was being masked by the larger left hydrocele.
Once the one on the left was closed off, it allowed the right one to become more evident.
Looks like Lucas gets to go through another surgery.
At least we know what to expect. Also, we won't have to deal with the circumcision revision this time, which was really the hardest part with the last procedure.
We'll probably wait until the end of the summer, so he doesn't miss out on too much pool time.
As the doctor said- He's double trouble! Isn't that the truth!
