Since Lucas loves hockey so much, we decided we would try to take him ice skating.
If you want to be a hockey player, you have to start somewhere.
We went to the indoor ice rink in Waldorf.
First go round- not thrilled, but going along with it

Somehow I convinced him to go out on the ice again,
it was a mistake....
We made it half way around before he was crying....
"Mama- I all done!! NO NO NO!"
He was not into the skating at ALL!
As you can see, it was very crowded and also very loud.
If we go back, I think we'll try to go during a weekday, when there are less people.
Hysterics continued off the ice for another 5-10 minutes,
where we couldn't find anything to console him.
Eventually he calmed down, but we were definitely finished with our skating for the day.
His favorite part, of course, was watching the zamboni clean the ice after the session was finished.
