Today we planned to decorate the house for Christmas. It turned out to be the perfect day for it, as the first snowfall of the season came down outside. We put Lucas down for his nap and Ryan brought up all the Christmas containers from the basement. We got our artifical tree up with the lights on before Lucas woke up. We let him help put up the less breakable ornaments on the bottom branches of the tree, with some assistance. He loved the lights. We told him they were "hot" in hopes of preventing him from touching & pulling at them. It only partially worked. He also took great joy in crawling/laying under the tree. We'll be lucky if the tree doesn't fall down before Christmas! He knows who Santa is, but won't say Santa. When we ask him, "Who is that?", he responds, "Ho ho!". Close enough.
