Breezy Beach Day #2

It was a beautiful morning. Lucas did a great job sleeping in the big boy bed with the bumper.
He woke up and was ready to roll, so I decided to take him with me on a jog.
Maria hadn't woken up yet, so I left a bottle, then Lukey & I were on our way.
On the way back, he fell asleep. It was so cute, because the way his hat was resting made him look like Elmo.

My sleeping Elmo boy
And he didn't even do the jogging or pushing of the stroller!

When he woke up, he was a hungry boy.

One of the best parts of the beach is getting to eat your cereal outside on the deck!

"Cereal, cereal, let's all eat some cereal!"

Meanwhile, Maria was STILL sleeping
Thank goodness for swaddling!

Our sleepy princess
She ended up sleeping almost 12 hours!
It was amazing...certainly the longest she's ever slept.
We should come to the beach more often!

Maria had many patriotic outfits to wear this weekend,
so we didn't want to waste any time putting her in her red, white & blue!

She loves her Uncle Billy!

All smiles!

Another great beach day!
This time, we decided to feed Lucas lunch, then put him in the stroller & walk down to the beach.
Our plan worked, he fell asleep & napped in the stroller in plenty of shade on the beach!
Enjoying my book while both kids sleep

I like loungin' at the beach!

Happy Girl!

Love that little girl (and the beautiful blue sky background!)!!

Uncle John keeps Maria entertained
After beach time, we headed back up to change before going to Opening Party for the walk.
There we got to introduce everyone to Maria & show them how much Lucas has grown in the past year. We also got to have some tasty appetizers! Lucas was particularly fond of the meatballs.
Maria & Aunt Katie
Definitely related!
