Breezy Beach Day #4

Hot, Hot, HOT! It is so HOT!
So for now, the windows are closed and we have the AC pumping.
What happened to the wonderful mild weather we had a few days ago when we got here?
Vacation means:
-Lucas gets a make shift tv table at his tiger chair to eat cereal at with Daddy
-Lucas gets to eat sugary cereal that Mommy doesn't buy for him at home
-Mommy gets to check her e-mail & facebook in peace
while the boys eat breakfast & Maria sleeps

This one says "All American Girl"

Family Vacations are fun!

It was so hot, that we initially decided not to bring Maria down to the beach.
So her and I stayed back at the bungalow to nap
while the others went to beat the heat by the water

He's got his juice & some Cheetos- equation for a happy boy.

Yummy!

Wonder how all that sand got in your hair, Buddy?

I got a call from my mom and she said there was actually a nice breeze down at the beach.
She said she thought it would be fine to bring Maria down after she woke up from her nap.
Maria & I decided we didn't want to miss out on any of the fun on our last day at the beach, so made the trek down to the water.

Putting her toes in the water
Why it took me until the last day to do this, I have no idea!
The water was definitely the warmest today of all the days were here.

Tonight, the rest of the gang volunteered to babysit so that Ryan & I could go out to dinner.
We took the chance to pre-celebrate our upcoming "E' anniversary (5th).
We went to Kennedy's Restaurant on the Bayside. We got to watch the sunset over the bay.
We could even see the Empire State Building. Does that count as our "E"-overlooking Empire State Building? I guess we were in the Empire state anyway, if we wanted to use it that way.

While we were eating our incredible, uninterrupted by children, dinner,
our cousins stopped by to spend some time with the rest of the fam.

Drawing with sidewalk chalk is pretty dangerous
I guess you can't be overly cautious!

He remembers holding me when I was that small!

Interesting way to keep your feet up, Luke!

Lucas & Uncle Billy
If they didn't want us to know they gave him chocolate,
they might have tried wiping the tell-tale circle around his mouth.
Oh well! After all, it is the last night of vacation!
